Economic growth with
emissions trading

EcoCarbon is an industry partnership which is building capacity in market- based mechanisms to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

One of EcoCarbon's main projects is its Virtual Emissions Trading Program (VETP), which uses financial market models to simulate the potential operation of various Australian emissions trading schemes.

EcoCarbon is an incorporated, not-for-profit association.

The Chair of EcoCarbon is Bret Mattes. The Executive Director is
David Hodgkinson. He is also Special Counsel at a national Australian law firm, a member of The Hodgkinson Group and Associate Professor at the University of Western Australia Law School.
